Batang Gusto Makita Ang Kanilang Magulang Gumawa Ng Ganitong Kadelikadong Pagsakay

Photos of two Chinese boys who traveled 80 km or 50 miles in the undercarriage of a bus were posted online, breaking the hearts of the netizens.

According to the reports published by the BBC News, The two Chinese boys who have not been named by the Chinese media, are from a poor village in the southern Guangxi who had been trying to reach their parents who are working in the neighboring province, the Guangdong province.

Since they are too poor, they don’t have money to pay for the fare so they decided to hide in the undercarriage of the bus.

It was on November 23 when they were reported as missing persons by their teacher and on that same day, they were found in the undercarriage of a vehicle at a bus station where an inspection was held.

The heartbreaking photos even showed two boys covered in mud while clinging at the bottom part of the bus.

Southern Morning Pos (Nanguo Zaobao) stated that the boys who were around eight or nine years old were found by the security workers when the vehicle stopped at a bus station.

They traveled for about 5km of steep slopes and the staff was surprised that they were left unharmed.

“These children’s bodies were really thin, so the undercarriage was a good hiding space,” one worker told the paper.

The staff also said that the boys are hesitant to speak when they were questioned until one staff member told the Southern Morning Post: “We finally came to understand that these two boys had been missing their mum and dad.

“They had hidden under the vehicle because they wanted, in vain, to find their parents.”

Further reports stated that the little boys were fetched on that evening after their relatives in the village were informed about it.

The incident truly left the Chinese community in shock.

One says: “There are way too many young children in China now who are separated from their parents from a young age. Who is caring for them, and finding a solution to their problems?”

While another online user stated that it was a tragedy in the society.
